Glen Baker
Dr. Glen Baker is principal of Glendale Adventist Academy, a K-12 Christian College Preparatory School located in Glendale, CA, a suburbof Los Angeles. He is beginning his 20th year at the school. The school was founded in 1907 and has a rich tradition of providing quality education and training to students from many communities. Dr. Baker is also an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He holds the following degrees:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.)in Theology from Walla Walla College, Washington.
Master of Divinity Degree (M.Div.) from Andrews University, Michigan.
Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S) from Loma Linda University, California.
Doctoral Degree in Educational Administration (Ed.D) from La Sierra University,California.
Many years ago while he was attending college, Dr. Baker took a year off from school to go to Chiba, Japan where he taught conversational English for a year (1978-79).He loved living in Japan and is proud to say he has climbed to the top of Mt. Fuji.
Karl Kime
Karl W. Kime has been a lawyer in the Los Angeles, California, area for almost 20 years. He graduated from UCLA School of Law and was a member of the UCLA Law Review. He has written professional articles and teaches negotiation courses on the graduate level for a university in Southern California. He is currently a partner with the law firm of Poole & Shaffery, LLP.
In addition to his juris doctor (JD) degree, Mr. Kime obtained a college degree and a master’s degree in the study of religion and philosophy. He also completed most of his studies for a Ph.D. in the philosophy of religion. While in graduate school, Mr. Kime taught English writing and grammar to graduate students, many of whom were Japanese students pursuing advanced degrees in business or computer science at nature.
